Village of West Dundee Special Census
Attention West Dundee Residents 
The U.S. Census Bureau will be conducting a Special Census of the Village of West Dundee. Throughout January, residents should watch for mailings from the US Census Bureau containing a unique 12-digit Census ID and instructions for completing an online questionnaire. They will send you multiple mailings with this information.
Why are we conducting a Special Census?
We believe that our population has grown significantly since the 2020 Census.
Why is it critical for you to participate and respond to the online questionnaire?
State and federal monies are distributed to local governments annually through various programs based on "per capita" ("per person") numbers. An accurate population count in our Village is vital so our community gets its fair share of funding.
