Monday, August 31, 2026 (6:00 PM - 7:15 PM) (CDT)
Description
Help us keep this community awareness and memorial event free and open to all. Honoring Lives and Carrying Their Memory Forward Join Ecker Center for Behavioral Health on Monday, August 31, 2026, for a community gathering dedicated to honoring lives lost to overdose and suicide while creating space for remembrance, connection, hope, and support. The evening will include live reflective music, a Wall of Remembrance, a brief reflection from Ecker staff, a candlelight tribute and moment of silence, and opportunities for guests to share messages of remembrance and hope.
Attendees will also have access to information about Ecker Center’s 24/7 crisis services, 988, free Narcan, grief support, recovery resources, and other behavioral health services.
Community members are invited to honor a loved one through the Wall of Remembrance. You may submit their name, photo, and a brief tribute in advance through the tribute form. Guests may also bring a copy of a loved one’s photo and complete a tribute card at the event.
Please do not bring an original or irreplaceable photo. Tributes are free to submit, and a donation is never required to have a loved one included. The Wall of Remembrance will be displayed in Ecker Center’s main lobby at 1845 Grandstand Place from August 15 through September 15 and featured during the August 31 gathering. Submit a Tribute
