The theme of Centro’s Annual Gala this year is A World of Difference. It will be held Saturday, September 27th at the Q Center in St. Charles. Centro de Información’s mission is empowering the Latino and immigrant community to integrate effectively. A World of Difference This year's theme will focus on the wide diversity of countries of origin of Centro clients. Centro has made powerful impacts on the lives of people from all over the world, and we want to celebrate that support and call on the community to help us continue this important work. Join us for an extravagant evening of dining, dancing and like-minded individuals dedicated to empowering the Latino and immigrant community. We look forward to your support in our continued mission of empowering the Latino and Immigrant community to integrate effectively. In supporting us, you are making "A World of Difference"! A trusted organization serving since 1972, Centro’s impact in the community is profound. In 2023, more than 1,000 families were helped with successful public benefit applications to gain access to healthcare and nutritious food. More than 3,300 individuals received emergency food donations from Centro’s pantry. More than 1,500 immigration forms and applications were completed on behalf of clients, including TPS (temporary protected status), asylum, citizenship / naturalization, and more. More than $400,000 in financial support were successfully secured from the Immigrant Family Support Project for more than 200 clients in crisis situations.
